ASU returns to a national standout in Murphy Cassone. Cassone returns to Tempe as the No. 1 ranked colligate tennis player in the nation by UTR and the reigning ITA Rookie of the Year. He was one of five men nationwide to earn a spot on the USTA Collegiate Summer Team – Cassone was one of only two underclassman in the group too. Cassone ended his rookie season on a nine-match winning streak and totaled a 15-5 mark in singles, including a perfect 9-0 record in Pac-12 play.
